I made 5 care bags for the homeless of Logan Square this week. This brings the total up to 605 on this 111th week, July 27, 2015.

This entire month of care bags are because of a generous donation by Dana Kovalchick and her husband Alex Cohen during this years fundraising drive. Thank you both for being awesome. This month of care bags is dedicated to you and your beautiful family. ‪#‎ShareTheCare‬, ‪#‎carebags‬, care-bags.org

I made six care bags for the homeless of Logan Square this week. This brings the total up to 591 on this 109th week, July 12, 2015. This entire month of care bags are because of a generous donation by Dana Kovalchick and her husband Alex Cohen during this years fundraising drive. Thank you both for being awesome. This month of care bags is dedicated to you and your beautiful family.

One of the bags were for an Artist Painters 773-240-4077quote I gave today. A lot of you know, I like to give these bags to friends, new customers and pretty much anyone that presents an opportunity to imprint this idea of empathy. We had a great conversation about Logan Square, the homeless in this community and what we could all do to help each other. That kind of dialogue would never happen without those bags. Nearly every bag is an opportunity. ‪#‎ShareTheCare‬, ‪#‎carebags‬, care-bags.org

These 6 care bags for the homeless of Logan Square, Chicago bring the total up to 585 on this 108th week, July 5, 2015. This entire month of care bags are because of a generous donation by Dana Kovalchick and her husband Alex Cohen during this years fundraising drive. Thank you both for being awesome. Its a selfish thing really, delivering these bags. Every week I spend time putting together these bags, thinking about people like Roger, Teresa, Nic…Then I set out and drive around my community and look for people to give the bags to. The whole time I’m thinking about these friendships I’ve made and the impact its had on me, my friends, my community. I get to exercise compassion and work on making myself a better, more caring person. What is that worth? I’ll never stop because its something I greatly value…improving myself, trying to make my life mean something more. You can do something too and see what it does…Do you have time in your life for something like that? Will you make time to create some ripples in the water? All you have to do is start. www.care-bags.org, ‪#‎ShareTheCare‬, ‪#‎carebags‬
